I've been looking around and I've found some lowering springs I want to get that has a 2 inch drop on them. I know I need to get some new struts to go along with these because my stock ones with blow after a while. Anybody know of some that will bolt on to my 01 accord that will accomodate that 2 inch drop?

Tokico Illumina, KYB AGX, Koni Sport ("Yellows"), Bilstein HD.

Basically, don't get ones that say "OEM replacement" like KYB GR-2, Koni STR.T, Tokico HP's ("Blues") or Bilstein OEM, Monroe SensaTrac, etc.

are there some struts that would bolt up to mine that come stock off another vehicle? like from an earlier model or something. it would be cheaper that way, i'm thinking at least.

If your going to do suspension, then cheap is not the way, besides i doubt any earlier year accord or other model Honda will work. Each strut is specific for your car.

Struts from the CL may work, but that's besides the point. The point is to get struts that will not blow because of the stiffer lowering spring. The lower you go, the better shock you need.

For example, I'm dropped on H&R Race springs and have Koni Sports. Paid about $850 for just those two items.
