Default Suspension/wheel setup question

Hello,
I am pretty close to buying wheels and coilover’s and just wanted to get some input and see if I may run into any problems.
I have a 2010 accord coupe 2.4L the stock tires are 225/50/17
I want to upgrade to a set of 18” wheels with 235/45/18 tires and also Tein basic coilovers. I feel I am being pretty conservative with 18’s; however I wanted to get some input and see if you guys think I will be fine. I don’t want any rubbing, and rolling the fenders is waaaaay out of the question (for me at least lol)

why would rolling the fenders be out of the question?? You can have it done at most tire shops with the proper tool.

well I donno how it is with the newer accord but my gen (4th gen) accords we had to roll the rear fenders when we lower the car. Or we will rub even with OE spec tires. Just something to think about. Like I said it can be done the right way by a shop. It’s not a bad thing to roll the fenders it doesn’t hurt the car any and it won’t lose value. Cus to be honest 99.9% ppl don’t know what rolled fenders look like. It would look normal to most ppl.

I never really thought about it that way. I guess in the back of my mind, I thought it may lose value.
I guess your right, the normal person probably would not notice. I usually take off most of my aftermarket parts anyway before I sell.
I am gonna think about this more now….thanks

Just make sure you take it to someone who knows how to do it. Call around and make sure the shop has someone experienced with rolling fenders. Don't just take it to the 1st person who says they can do it.I wish I would have done it the right way by having someone else do it or renting the tool. I did mine with a baseball bat and I didn’t heat up the fender be4 rolling and my paint cracked some. WHen you find a place that can roll fenders make sure they can do it without cracking your paint. Look at your tire suspension combo 1st and make sure you even need o roll the fenders. I just know on my gen accord you have to roll the fenders or the rear rubs when lowered.
