Too much spring compression

Default Too much spring compression

I reinstalled my eibach sport lines on some new koni yellows. My question is, Why do the springs compress so much, are they too old? I can't even get a finger through the springs.

well theres two main types of springs, constant rate and progressive rate. constants stay...well constant and progressives change as the driving gets more aggressive. the progressive springs are usually grouped very close together in spots to allow this to happen. also just so you know even on constant rate springs there will be very little room between each coil depending on the drop. sportlines drop a lot so i can see them being tight together. Im sure they are fine.
