Width of rims with 1.5" of lowering
#2
Hmm I'm nt sure, I have the same car on 17x7.5 wheels and I too am thinking about a 1.5" drop. Any suggestion on springs ect...? I'm thinking eibach springs. Should I get struts and shock at the same time?never or how far into the future would be recomended

What is the offset of the 18x8 wheel? Do you plan on adjusting your camber?
You would probably have to roll the fenders, make sure the offset of the wheels are like a +15, or a +20, and then get a camber kit to rock out on like -2 degrees of camber.

I have the same car with Tein Super street adjustable coilovers and it's dropped about 2", and I also have 18" enkei wheels. I was getting a lot of rubbing on my rear wheel wells just above the tire (since the aftermarket rims are wider and offset a bit more), but I fixed the problem by raising the suspension about a half inch. So in your case I would say 18's may be too big if you don't have adjustable suspension
