Im looking at a 225/45/17 tire for my Tenzo Passion 5 rims. This is for a 97 honda accord lx coupe. I was wondering if they will fit without rubbing. I do not plan on dropping this car with these tires cause i know you nedd a 205. But i found a great deal on these tires and was wondering if they will work. Some fill me in plEASE!

Im keeping it stock no drop on these tires. I called tire rack and they said they would rub. I got a sick deal on tenzo passion 5's and this size tires but i dont want to invest if its not going to work. I just didnt know if anyone had any experience with this size tire and rim?

 

i dropped my 94, 3 3/4 inch and run 205/40/17's and i dont rub at all

 

I have 215/40/17 on right now and I did have 215/ 45/17 on. I have dropped my car 2". Hope this will help. Breeze..

 

Oh and there's no rub or problems.

 

i dropped my 94 accord ex 2 1/2 and i got 225 35 18 and i have never had a problem

 

check out the pics of my car, i am actually using 225/45/17 wrapped around some kobe rebels
you wont have to worry about rubbing, but im planning to change to 40 when i get new tires, then drop the car
