Can I put 15" EXR rims on a 1991 LX with 14" rims?
Gents,
I have a 1991 Accord Coupe LX.
Neighbour has a shot 1993-4 Accord EXR Sedan
I have 14" steel rims
He has the OEM EXR aluminum rims which are 15" and are clean.
Can I throw the 15" rims on my car? What will change...Is bolt pattern the same? I assume that the speedometer will be out and so will the odometer going forward. Can I switch and what are the concerns associated with such a switch?
Anyone got an opinion? They will really dress up my car for FREE.....I guess I need 15' tires but thats ok.
Thanks in advance

im not too sure but arent 1991 and 1993 model pretty much the same? if so than the bolt pattern should be the same and if you still need tires for the 15"s if you get tired that are the same height as your tires then the odometer reading shouldnt change so basically yes you can switch and you shouldnt be gettin any problems not to my knowledge

Yes you can put on 15's no problem. In fact the EX trims which were considered the sport versions had 15's OEM, since they needed them for the slightly larger rotors that they also had. Bolt pattern is the same and if you go with 195/60R15 tires than you will not have any speedo problems.

EX trims had more features as standard equipment. THey also had slightly more powerful engines and usually the bigger wheels cause of bigger brakes. But in your situation you wouldn't have any sort of compatability issues.
