Default Eagle Gt Tires

hey, i recently bought a pair of Eagle GT's. specs 195-65-15 91R

has any1 else had any problems with these? they claim to be a higher performance tire and were a good price. The handling is surprisingly good compared to my old pair, but they are heavier and seem to "slow" my acceleration down.

Besides being a good overall tire, has anybody else noticed a lack in acceleration due to weight? thanks

Never had those tires, but remember that every pound of weight located out at the tread is "worth" about 2 pounds when you compare acceleration. You have rotational inertia along with the normal straight-line inertia.

Hmmm, 195/65 R12 tires? How long ago was it when Honda built an Accord with 12" wheels? Maybe I should have asked, "Has Honda ever built an Accord with 12" wheels?"
