Folks-

I have a 2006 Honda Accord V6, which came with 17" wheels. I'm thinking about replacing the wheels, and could use some advice on a couple of points:

1) Are there any disadvantages to going to 18" wheels? It seems as though I have a greater selection of wheels from online stores like Tirerack.com etc for 18" than 17". Do 18" wheels place additional strain or wear on the car over time? Would I have to modify anything additional in order to go to 18" wheels?

2) What are good brands of wheels that are of better quality than the factory installed wheels? I like some of the ASA wheels. How is ASA as a brand? Is there a good resource online where I can get this sort of information?
