Need tire size FAST!!
Hello all,
I bought a 1993 Accord LX sedan (5-speed) yesterday for a great price and he threw in some 17x7 "ADR-55" aluminum wheels. I immediately went home for a fresh detail job and tried the wheels on, they made a total transformation from the hubcapped 14 inchers! They have decent 215/45ZR17 tires, but too low-profile for my taste. I was thinking of a 215/50 to beef-up the sidewall, but need some honest opinions from you guys. This car is for daily use and decent ride quality---it will never be lowered. The fenderwell gap is just too much for my taste...Would a 225/50 be too big and look goofy?? I'm just looking for a decent, sporty look...not Fast & Furious
