I have an 100% stock 2003 EX V6, 6 speed Honda Accord Coupe that I need to replace the OEM tires on. I am really struggling on tire choices. The car has 215/50 R17s on it. I would go back that size or 225/50 R17s. I also want a rim protector on the tires. Looking for a comfortable all season daily driver tire with a some performance characteristics that provides reasonable mileage. I am not set on any brand of tire. Please provide recommendations especially if you own a 6 speed as well. Thanks.

 

I just recentlyreplace the Goodyear Eagle GT (195/65/15), which were getting low on tread depth, with new Bridgestone Potenza RE960 AS Pole Position.

The reason I bought them was it appeared that the tires had good reviews from both Tire Rack and Discount Tire website from other Honda Accord owners.

The ride is very comfortable and handling appears to be improved although that could be more due to the fact that I have new tires versue old tires.

Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread.....I had 'em on my Cadillac, front wheel drive, and they did great in snow and rain. Plus they look cool
