Default Switching to a different tire size

I have a 2007 Accord Sedan with stock 205/65/15 tires. I might buy these rims and tires but the size is 225/55/17. Would those fit okay without any complications or damages to my car? Thanks!

I think there is a "fit guide" on tire rack's web site, they are a sponsor so there should be a link over to the right.

I'm thinking 225 section width tires might be too wide and rather too tall for your wheel wells; the result will be rubbing (especially at full steering lock), and lower speedometer and odometer readings compared to actual speed and distance. If you want to go with a 17" wheel, the tires you should be looking at are 215/50 R17. If you really want to go with a 225 section with tire then probably your best bet would be 225/45 R18; they're still a hair too tall and may still rub a bit, but nothing like the 225/55 R17s you're proposing.
