Tire size depends on what car you're gonna put them on. Both those sizes sound reasonable.

EX, LX, V-6, 4-cyl, 2-door, 4-door... Honda has been known to use different size tires depending on what it is.

The bolt-circle of those wheels would have also fit a 1998 V-6 Accord, so I didn't really know. In fact, they'd even fit a 2007 Civic but that's a different tire size.

I think 215/50-R17 for 2005 LX V-6 4-door auto-trans.
225/45-R17 are about 2% smaller outer diameter.
