Default Wheel help

I'm looking to get an 18x9 wheels. Can anyone let me know what the lowest offset could be and what would be the recommended tire sizes. I was thinking 245/40. What do you think? I have an 08 accord coupe btw. Appreciate your help and Thanks in advance.

245 is a bit too wide for a 9 inch wheel... Id go with 225/45/R18 or 235/40/R18 tires...

As far as offset goes, +35 should be good, but Id take the car to a wheel shop first and they will tell you what offset to run.

Thanks for the response. Is +30mm too aggressive?

No, they just might stick out of the fenders a bit, which would look good on stretched 215 tires, but would look great with the 225s too.
