2004 Accord LX, what is the widest tire I can put on 15" stock alloy rim? I don't like the stock michelins so I am thinking about replacing them.

 

If you have 205/65/15 the widest you can go is 215.

 

If you go down to a 60 profile you can get 225's or 235's but the 235 will stick out.

 

Do not get falken tires the wear out fast.
Make sure you get atleast a 300 treadwear rating.

 

Falken tires is a pretty generic assumption... for example the Falken Azenis are a lower treadwear rating so yes they probably do wear a bit faster than a 450 treadwear but they also stick/grip the road 10 times better... thus the reason they are big in the Auto X communities... Falken Ziex on the other hand is a nice gripping but a little longer lasting tire and for the price/performance unless you are racing with them I'd say they are fantastic.... I think they have a 320 treadwear (don't quote me on that...) I use em and love 'em...
