Hi Guys, I just upgraded by 03 accord coupe v6 to the 08 accord coupe V6,auto, navi. The car is black on black.

I want to change the lights to HIDs? Any idea how much this will cost me? Any recommended shops in Cnetral NJ? Has anyone done this yet to the 08 accord?

Also, how much have you guys paid for this car. I think I got a great deal, just want to make sure it's as good as I think it is.

 

An HID comversion kit will work on any car, just know what bulbs you are replacing. Ebay kits cost about $150 and most body shops or performance shops could install them for $50.

 

its not nesisary for a shop to do it. is it? its basically plug and play. atleast thats the way it was on my car. Are the 08 headlights any different?

 

The hardest part is placing/mounting the ballasts

 

Seriously?? You are already wanting to mod your '08? Why in the crap doesn't Honda put factory HID's in already!!!

 

All manufacturers should ..... they're cheap enough and put less strain on the electrical system.

 

the only mod i am doing is HID and tints. Other than that, i plan to keep pretty stock

 

Aww thats too bad, you'll change that tone thou. Im feeling a post from you in the not too distant future asking "08 accord coupe needs more power"
