Default 2013 Accord Sport CVT Price Paid / Best Deal

2013 Honda Accord Sport CVT

$24,980 MSRP

I'm a cash buyer, in Illinois, but don't want to overpay. I think $21,750 plus tax title license is the lowest I see anyone SAYS they paid...don't know if its true...

Any comments on recent purchases appreciated, but since everybody is in differently taxed states, could we please keep playing field level and keep the convo to price before taxes and separated from trade in. Of major importance to the one who pays it I am sure, but your monthly lease / finance payments are useless info to me.

Feel free to tell me how much you like/ dislike the car too. I think it's cool, a little noisy...but thats the trade for performance. Those 18 tires probably SUCK in the snow...The interior is great except for that stupid bulky door in the console on the dash that flips the wrong way...just give me an opening please... and the radio...all that tech and 4 lousy speakers...c'mon man!

THANKS!

I went through Costco. Don't have exact numbers in front of me but will post in the next few days.

I actually like the console door but wished it was bigger and covered the entire opening. I had one like I am describing on my 06 Camry. Makes the car look cleaner and hides valuables from plain view. Had a cover on my cup holder too. Liked it as well.

Like my Sport so far, 4cyl has plenty of power no need for 6 cyl. Easily cruises at 80MPH, rock solid at 100, still has more power left at 120. Done in controlled/safe conditions. Pretty amazing that a 4cyl automatic can crank out that much power and get great MPG. I can get 40 MPG by setting cruise at 65MPH on the interstate !

The Sport has a firmer suspension - be sure that is something you can live with. Looks are awesome.

18" OEM tires are noisy, hope there is a quieter choice when the OEM's wear out.

Only real complaint is the tire noise and lack of storage compartment (glove box, door panel, change drawer) space. Stereo sounds better using MP3 or streaming Pandora. I like Pandora, no commercials, good thing I have unlimited data plan!

I'm in the Chicago Metro area, the most saturated dealer market in America. What I can save on cars, I give back in gas taxes! I was also a dealership manager for years so I "Know the game".

I was looking for just a 2013 Sport, CVT Auto with no options, $24,980.00 MSRP. I sent out emails to a few, and said I was ready to buy at $22,400. + TTL.

I picked it up Monday night and it is awesome, I'm really thrilled.

Paid $22,400.00, wrote a check for $24,275.00 after taxes and plates.

I think the dealer made $37 over dead cost, but I would totally recommend them.See Les at Pauly Honda Libertyville, tell him Jeff sent you, and you will not have overpaid.

Don't hate the player, hate the game.
