I want to get my windows tinted, i have a 97 accord that is the OEM maroon. I'm not sure what color to do it, black, red, or a reflective gun metal. what are your opinions? and is it something i could do myself, the back window looks like it would be a ***** to get it down to the bottom. thanks for the advice

I think a metalic look would go nicely with your car... the red might be a bit to much in my opinion but I think that metalic or black would look great.... Unless you are fairly experienced with window tinting I'd be very leary of trying to do the back window on your own.... I've done a few windows but I have never tried something with that much of a bend in it....

 

Ive seen a red coogar (Spelling?) with red tint. It looked ok. Im partial to black tint

 

I agree, I recently passed a olds Intrigue with red windows and it looked eh... It was different and stuck out but maybe I would have to get used to it. Black looks great, and if you get it done could you post some pics and the tint %? As I also have a maroon accord and have thought about tinting. The reflective looks okay in my opinion...I dont even know if its legal?

 

i would stick would black tint. plane but simple and it looks great with any color car.

 

if you go metallic, make sure reflective tint is legal in your state, my choice would be brown or gray tint
