I'm currently using Turtlewax Platinum, and it works good enough. I'll use it until it's gone. I'd stick with Turtlewax, Mothers, other well known brands. I usually apply wax once before winter and once before summer, but you can apply as much as you want. Usually takes me an hour to do the whole car.

Any good(?) brand-name wax every 4-5 months. I tend to like "better" internet brands off of car detailing sites. Let your wallet be your guide.

I'm one of the Zaino zombies.

Been using the stuff since I got my first new car - a silver '01 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.

It's expensive but lasts a lot longer and is easier to work with than regular wax.

Default Any name brand, but do it!

I now use Meguiar's, Turtle Wax, pretty much any name brand. The secret is to use it. I live in Florida and didn't wax my '99 green Accord for a loooooong time, and paid the price of having to re-paint the horizontal surfaces a year ago. The guy at the shop said most cars would not need to have that done like I did if they just waxed their car every 3 months. He favored Meguiar's wax products. I just bought a new 2010 Accord a month ago and have waxed it twice already. ;-)

Turtle Wax Ice
or
Meguiar's NXT tech wax 2.0

Both are good...the Turtle will hold up on intense sunlight condition and are easy to use...comes on clear goes off clear 20 minutes for full size sedan

Meguiar's wax will hold up longer due to its being a paste not a liquid wax...the trade off is that it takes alot longer to put it on and it is best to do it in the shade about $10 more than the Turtle Wax ice

also if you can get a product called "Lucas" spray detailer to use as a finishing glaze...this stuff is amazing

jmforde if your waxing a 2010 often be sure it's just wax and not a wax/cleaner or you will take the paint right off in time. Even for the Florida blistering sun two times in a month is way to often. Every three months is plenty for any brand name wax. Myself I've been turning to the detailers for my waxing. I can swing the money and the time saved is worth the expense personally. My Honda (2009) is the first car I've done nothing too myself. When I go to the dealerships for oil changes they check the tire pressure, top off all fluids, etc, etc. For the piece of mind and just chillin by letting other people do the labor the cost really is minimal.
