I looked for instructions on this but didn't find anything. I'm changing my hood and I need to know how to remove the one and how to install the new one.
One question comes to mind:
are hoods for accords 90 - 93 all compatible?
and also what tools will i need for the procedures. thanks

 

You'll have to outline both hinges with a white grease pencil or silver sharpie or something to align it when reinstalling it. Other than that, just disconnect the washer spray nozzles and remove the bolts holding the hinges to the engine bay. There are 3-4 10-12mm bolts.

 

not sure if you can use the hood for a 4 dr on a 2 dr but all 4 dr acc 90-93 hoods are the same .as are all 2 dr accords .. to remove it all you need is a 10mm wrench, remove the 4 bolts in the hinges, disconnect the tube for the washer nozzle..5 minutes job at most,, you need another person to hold the hood while you remove the final hinge bolt
