Default Painting certiain spots?

The other day, I gave the car its first actual hand washing and a wax .... I found a few runs and a tiny little bubble in the paint.. I was wondering if I could get those spots fixed without having to repaint the whole body... also .. any ideas on the cost of that?

I just got my car out of the shop... they had royally screwed up by running a car into mine while it was there; so i bitched and asked them to fix some scratches /etc..

the manager fought back and told me he'd have to paint over the scratches that were down to the paint, and that'd require the entire car to be painted to make sure it blended/matched properly...

it actually made sense and i didn't think he was blowing smoke up my ***, but i really don't know.. try calling a local body shop and see what they say?

then again... they painted my bumper and not the rest of my car, and it looks like it matches 100% perfect...

Body shops won't be able to paint certain spots. It just won't work. If you have a run on the door, they will have to paint the whole door. If you have a run on the quarter panel, they will have to paint the entire
quarter panel, etc, etc....
