Speedometer problems!

Default Speedometer problems!

My battery went dead when i was away on my trip. I connected it and jumped it. I don't know at what point it happenend but my speedometer needleis straight down. It must of gone all the way around, dont think it jumped the needle stop.So when i start the car it is under my needle stop and i dno't want to wreck it. Any help on how to fix this problem?

you can take it apart and take the needle off and put it back where it should be, its hard to get it to be 100% accurate again. And you can also break the needle while doing it and then you are just really screwed. I have never heard of this happening before.

when i had my pannel out to white my guages i had hit the speedometer to far to the oppsite side of the stop and at like 80 mph it turned all the way to 140 mph then to the center at the bottom try just moving it gently back to the other side, that dosent require removing it or anything so its deff worth a shot

so im going to have to take the clear plastic cover off and move it with my hand? Is that a hard thing to do?

no lol and it should be like 6 torx screws to take the face plate (the plastic is part of this, dont try to seperate it from the black plastic), man i could move it just by breathing on it haha,

haha ok, i haven't really looked, the plastic cover just seems like it would be hard to take off.
