types of wheels?

Help opinions needed/wanted...
So I'm looking to buy new wheels for my 07 Honda Accord. I know there is many types of wheels out there and I would like some opinions as to which ya'll think would be best for me. My car is my daily driver, I don't travel very at all (I live at college) and when I do drive its home to Nashville, straight interstate for about 200 miles. TN's roads are very good, usually flat and not bumpy... Also, I do not race my car, for it is completely stock right now. But in the near future I will begin to do mod's to up my cars performance, so I ideally would like something that could handle that sort of driving as well.
So what would yall recommend for new wheels, cause I know there are many different kinds ie alloy, steel, forged etc..
Thanks for your opinions/comments

Sorry guys, I just realized this is in the wrong spot and can't figure out how to delete this to put it in the right section...
As you can see I'm a "newb" to the site so don't hate too much.
Again sorry if this bothers anyone, but advice would still be greatly appreciated!!

Hello New Member..
Welcome to the Forums @ The HAF...
This forum will be allright for now as long as no-one puts direct sales links to sites for you..There are at least 100,000 different companys out there selling wheels for cars.
I see you have a 2007 Accord LX .that would mean that your wheels are this size... 5 lug by 114.3 mm or 5x4.5" , hub centric is 61.4 mm , offsets can be from 42-55mm, and your nuts (lugs) 12x1.5mm.
I would look at 16" and 17" wheels for your car..good all around tires like for 16" rims use 205/60/16" and for 17" rims the 215/50/17".
Hope this helps you out//look in the tires/wheels sections for TPMS info that you will need to know..
Happy Days to You...

It has been my experience that OEM wheels are generally higher in quality than the aftermarket's chosen as replacements. I tend to be quite careful with brakes, wheels and tires as they are all that is between me and the asphalt.

Not Always So!
Aftermarket wheels make the OEM wheels for the mfgs most always...
