Default 2000 Accord SE EXEC (UK)

I'm struggling here with the factory bose amp and subwoofer. I bought the car two months ago with a JVC mp3 HU in which worked fine. I have bought a Chinese double din GPS/DVD unit which went straight into the existing harness.

However the previous owner must have felt that wiring the bose amp/subwoofer too much of a job as it it disconnected.

The bose amp is located under the parcel shelf next to the subwoofer. There is also a small box under the passenger seat which I have been told is an equaliser???

I want to try to wire the amp into the new unit (Xtrons TD717G) bu thave no idea where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I should add that part of the difficulty is down to Honda not officially releasing the accord in the uk..so there is no Haynes or any other manual available and the US ones bare very little relevance. Also trying to get harnesses/facia is nigh on impossible.

Best bet is to get an aftermarket amplifier. There is little documentation on the Bose amplifiers, but I have seen many just accept high level inputs from the factory radio. In that case, you could use a DMM to measure continuity from the radio harness to the Bose amp input -one wire at a time. note the harness should be disconnected on both ends during the test.
