Default 2005 Navigation Problem

Hi guys,

New to this thread, and I love it. I'm having an issue with my navigation. when I start the car, the navigation screen remains blank (a black screen). I can't access the navigation, nor can I access any other menu since the screen remains black. I took out the DVD and resinserted it, but no luck. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Check fuses for the display. If OK, you may need a new display. This is a complex system w/ pages and pages of diagnostics in the shop manual. If you want to diy, you'll need to purchase a shop manual. Check ebay or helminc.com

good luck

This section is for help with the website, not with the cars. I'll move this over to A/V Electronics.
