I am finally getting the time to start working on the project. What I am trying to figure out is, if I do the speaker wire with adapters as sudjested above, do I need to get a separate device for EQ settings or just install a software player with a lot of EQ settings?
I am trying to find the Dayton Audio DSP-408 4x8 but so far no luck. Any suggestions for equivalent/similar device?
I have torn the radio apart and will be attaching some pictures. I am ahving a hard time to find out which harness of the radio serves what purpose (hopefully you guys can help me with that). I have also ordered this kit: Axxess AXDSPX-HN2 Plug and Play X & T-Harness for AX-DSP for 2016-Up Honda
When you check in Metra or Axxess websites, they tell you this kit does not fit our car and we have ti get this one: Axxess AXDSPX-HN1 DSP Interface With Pre-Wired Harness for Acura 2009-2014
This information is false because after I took out the radio, I saw the plugs don't match. I have contacted Metra regarding this with all pictures. I am currently waiting for the correct kit to arrive and will be posting pictures and information with all details on how the project is going.

UPDATE: Here is a picture/proof to confirm that the Axxess AXDSPX-HN2 is plugged into my factory radio and this is the correct harness for my vehicle.
However, after full installation following the instructions, the mobile app sees the DSP, gives test signal, amp turns on, speakers work because I hear noise but there is no music coming out no matter if I put radio station or USB. When I was installing the radio back in the car, I did plugin everything back where it belonged with the exception that I added the DSP as instructed.
When I reset the DSP to default, it switches "vehicle type" to general. In that case, when I press "identify" I do hear music from radio station or USB for only 2-3seconds and it stops. I have noticed that the reason for that is the amp turns on only when I press "identify" after that it shuts off.
When I change it to my specific vehicle and hit identify I hear only the sound no music. Amp is on for a bit and then shuts off.
Still trying to figure it out.
Thanks for any help.
