'95 accord sub install questions
The stock stereo that came with my 95 accord didn't work when I bough it, so I installed a Kenwood KDC-MP238 and it works great now. I'm now strongly considering installing a subwoofer. I found the following 1000W subs on ebay: here. Someone told me that I'd have to upgrade/replace my alternator and battery in order to install it or I would destroy my car. I'm not very car knowledgeable, but I think they're full of it. Confirm or refute my suspicions? Anything else I should know about installing these subs in my car?
Thanks.

your selection is pretty cheap stuff. you won't get more than 200W out of that thing. it won't hurt your car whatsoever. your stock alt would be able to handle a real 800W RMS. you just need to install appropriate power wire - i recommend a 4awg amplifier kit.
you can buy much better stuff, maybe look at MTX or Alpine at a local shop. or even Craigslist.

I don't really recommend buying subwoofers on Ebay.
You don't need to buy a new alternator for thous subs, maybe a new battery depending on hows it doing right now, probably not.
If you do buy thous subs, if you want to get maximum preformance of thous subs i suggest buying an amplifier
