97'lx accord window switch problems
I have a 97 accord lx and its been sitting in the garage for about 6 months, and i went to turn it on the other day and i tried rolling down the driver's window and it worked just fine. But when i tried rolling it up it did not want to go up. So now im stuck with half open window.
-Another thing, the other windows are working pretty fine.

could be a bad switch, a bad motor, or a bad connection. most likely all windows are on the same fuse so that shouldn't be the issue.
i'd start by removing and reconnecting the window switch module.
if that seems to be fine, use a digital multi-meter (DMM) to determine the resistance of the window motor. you can refer to a Chilton's or Haynes manual for the plug configuration or color code.
once you know the wiring designation at the plug, you can jump the pins manually to get the window up (assuming it's a bad switch).
good luck.

I bought a new switch not to long ago and it was working fine after that. so i don't think it's the switch.
I was watching a video on youtube and it said that it could be the black surrounding.

I think that could be the problem because the stuff looks kinda out of place.
