I was wondering if anyone has installed a dvd/nav deck in their 03 and up Honda Accords yet. I tried installing a 1 din deck in the little pocket under my OEM deck in my car but the room for the screen to flip out is inadequate. I have a 6 cd changer and ac controls in the deck, and when the screen flips out from the new deck it ends up hitting the volume control on the OEM deck (which has to stay in because it controls the AC) and isnt able to come out all the way. With that being said, I was going to try and install a double din deck instead, by using a single din deck and a dremel (I love dremels) and see what I can create, just wondering if anyone has already tried.

 

In the march 2004 issue of honda tuning mag ( i have it laying around) a company called metra makes a kit for 7th gen accords so that after market cd and dvd players can be used after glancing over there article there isnt a website but they do have a phone number 800 221 0932 hope that helps btw the product is called Metra Turobo2 maybe u can find it online by searching id try it for you but im lazy

He is correct. Metra makes a mounting harness and wiring harness for the new 7gens.
