RE: alrite i just need some quick answers
caps only have a load when their charging, once their fully charged they no longer put a load on the electrical system.
and for daily driving, a cap is not a necissity, but its definetly helpful if your headlights dim. (and of course everyone will laugh when you crank your stereo and your headlights start flashing)
Theres a reason most starters also have caps on them, and its not because the stock electrical system sucks.

Thanks for clarifying that ...... 1200 RPM still isn't going to give full power from the alt though, better than nothing!

IMO, that's a waste of time, money, effort, etc. I understand about being an entheusiast (sp?) but some people should get smacked in the head for it. [sm=chairshot.gif][sm=icon_beat.gif]

Eh. Its all in what you love and what you love to do.
You could say the same thing about guys that spend tons of cash to make their car go in a straight line for 1/4 mile really fast.
Just dont ask me how much Ive spent on car audio gear and going to these competitions over the last 2 years.

LOL .... I think that you have a beautiful system! It's the ones with 4 zeros in the wattage catagory that I'm talking about. Like you said, it's no longer a car with all that concrete.
