amp/audio issues
Sooo my last stereo...stopped working, no sound using the radio/cd player...or even beeping when i leave the lights on when i turn my car off and get out....
i just bought a new stereo and installed the wiring harness and everything, thinking it was just my last crappy stereo
...but the same thing happens no sound...no radio, cd, silence! its driving me crazy...
anyone else have this problem? or suggestions for this problem! anything would be appreciated! thank you!

yeah i just re-checked all the fuses, and in the process of finding the stock amp so i can check if that even has any power...i will check the harness at work when i get the wire tester...if there isn't power in the car harness...would i have to re-wire everything?

Not necessarily. You'll have to trace the dash/radio harness (I'm assuming you've just plugged into the existing harness and not screwed around and wired around it) to where it plugs into the main harness.
As a test, you could bypass the harness and take a wire directly from the fuse box. I would not wire around the fuse box (i.e. take a hot directly from the battery). Only bad things will happen if you do that.

If yes, then you have to replace that section of wire.
How exactly did you test it?
