another fog light aftermarket question need fast answer

Default another fog light aftermarket question need fast answer

ok so i wanna hook them straight to the headlight so i dont have to push a button to turn them on should i use a relay and which on should i use. also can someone explain how exactly do i use the relay along with bootlegging it into the wires of the acc or headlight. do i connext the relay then tap the other wires into the healight or what i am clueless please help 2005 c6 se coupe is my car

You van wire it so that it is always on when the key is on,didnt the kit come with a switch? If not, you can use a 20amp or so toggle switch.

If you don't want to run a separate switch, which I would really recommend. Your going to have to use a relay yes. You can set it up so the fogs only come one when the headlights are on, and the switch is on, and they won't come on unless the headlights are on. You can also get crazy and build a circuit to either use both the headlights and a separate switch to turn them on, but that seems to be a bit out of your league.

I can understand making the mistake once, but this is not the correct forum for this. Just because you can see fog lights and they are electrical does not make it an A/V electronic....

oh my bad didnt know im new to the forum. it cam with all the wires but when i plugged em all in it didnt work i have 2 relays what do i plug in to that the power harness?
