I'd like to either rewire the cigarette light hot all the time or wire in an aux power outlet for the GPS or ipod. Where is the best spot to pull power from for that? I'd put an inline fuse in too. The two fuse blocks are not easy to get to and I'm not sure I'd want to mess with them too much anyway with all the computer electronics.

i think the easiest place is the battery. then you can size the wire however you want (12awg for 20A or 10awg for 30A) and you don't stress the electrical system.

course, for a GPS or ipod, you could tap the factory radio constant wire very easily.
