connecting subs to amp

Default connecting subs to amp

I have 4 channel e11 rockford fosgate amp with 2 10" mtx tc510 in thunder box got for free in good condition I don't know much about subwoofers but would it be best to bridge or connect to one channel?

are you only running the subs with the amp or are you running speakers as well?

assuming they are each 4 ohm single coil
you can bridge one sub to each channel pair
sub 1 to ch 1&2
sub 2 to ch 3&4

use a DMM to measure VAC on the amp outputs to adjust gain to be equal on both channels (and you can calculate the voltage you would get at rated power). for rated power output, call Rockford Fosgate and give them the various model/serial numbers.
