i didnt see one of these threads so i figured i would make one. the paintball forum i am a member of has what they call an ultimate sticky in every section. in this thread there are link to gun manuals, helpful links, charts, etc. anything you may need to completely know your gun. i thought this forum section could use a list of charts and diagrams and what not. here goes.
(here is an example of what i was talking about to help understand how helpful this could be)

here is an extensive list for car audio stereo wiring diagrams.
Car Radio Wiring Diagrams and Car Stereo Wiring Diagrams

this thread has changed from do to the finding of this site but if anyone wants to add any other useful links i can copy theres to the original post and if this is updated with each new find together we can make a very comprehensive source of information.

SUBS and AMPS:
Keep_hope_alive's pricing formula
(total budget - wiring kit)/2. half towards amp half towards sub/subs and box.

a must have tool:
Walmart.com: Equus 3300 Hands free Digital Multimeter: Automotive

when setting the gain on your amp use the sqrt(P*R) formula. unplug the speaker wires. you can either download a test tone and burn it to a disk or use a sound generator to generate a tone. i usually use a 50hz tone. plug the dmm into the speaker outs on your amp and match your output with what the formula told you. if this is too loud you can turn it down. if you go past this point you will more than likely begin to clip.
Parallel wiring
series wiring
crutch field says:
Video: Installing A Car Amplifier (note: they leave out some important things: this is a very general this wire goes here this wire goes there scenario)

i would also like to make a list of build threads. if you have a build thread on this forum or another if you can provide a link i will put it in the list.

I would like HAF to host build logs as well, I just need to talk to Ang about the details and our rules for hosting hundreds of pics.

gotcha. if anything anyone who wanted to do a build log could get there own free forum and make a link to it. even if they only had one thread on that forum. save some of HAF bandwith.
