Not only are Rainbow speakers hard to find but theyre uber expensive! They top out at well over $3500!!!!!

Plus theyve got a wimpy name.

Rainbows can be purchased for much much less than $3500 MacLeod.

The Germaniums are one of the most popular models and cost around $550 while the Sound Line are around $250. They do go up from there but are in the same price points as similar high end brands. I would like to hear a pair but no luck so far.

A name is a name lol.

I have to agree I don't like aluminum tweeters either. My JLs are silk and I have the crossover set to +3db on the tweets and they still never get harsh. I honestly don't see what people like in aluminum or titanium tweeters. They're just way to harsh for me.
