Default Honda Accord LX, stereo and console display erratic behavior

I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX (no XM, no Navi). Lately, the display goes blank and the stereo stops almost the other day. I cannot even see the time on the console display. None of the dash controls work. I have to pull the radio fuse from the fuse box under the steering, that is fuse no 5, 10A (Red). When I put the fuse back the display comes on and the clock is reset. It works for a few days and then dies again. I have to remove and place the fuse every couple of days. I also changed the fuse but the problem persists. Does anybody have any idea on what can be done?
