Default iPod stopped working with Honda Accord.

I installed into my 2004 Honda Accord.

It worked for a few days, but now whenever I press the aux button: nothing happens.

The ipod says that it is charging so I know it is still connected, but the radio will not accept input from the ipod. I already tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the radio, but nothing helps.

Can you guys tell me how to fix this?

i assume your original post had a link to the ipod adapter you installed. instead of linking to a selling website, tell us the make/model of your adapter.

is your head unit stock or aftermarket? make/model?

if you installed it, and it worked, now it doesn't, it is one of two things.

1. your install failed (wiring, etc.)
2. your adapter failed

This is the seller's description on ebay: HONDA ACCORD 2003/03 iPOD/iPHONE/AUX INPUT IN ADAPTER

It's item number 380185878951 on ebay if you are interested.

I typically recommend Pacific Accessory Corporation or Peripheral Electronics.

I ripped my car open again this week. The connector was still in place, but it had got slightly loose causing the radio to decide it didn't exist.

I reached my hand way back in there and this time I pulled hard to the plastic connector until I felt a click. (about 20-30 pounds of force). Now it seems to be working fine.
