I have a 1993 Honda Accord. There is no owners manual or anything like that with it...i am wanting to put my CD player in...i can do that myself...i can't for the life of me figure out how to get that crappy tape player out of my dash. do i need to take that whole plastic piece off? Is the little cubby under the tape deck, is that glued to the tape deck?

Please help...Everywhere i have gone to get a quote is overcharging me, i can do the installation myself...just need a little help w/ the tape deck.

on most cars, you need to remove the center pannel that covers the radio and such, depending on the car, some pop off, some screw off. look around for screws first, they are usually facing down so people can notice them so look under and overhangs on the pannel, im not sure how a 93 is set up so i cant help you there. if you have no luck then just give some genal tugs and see where the pannels stressin lettin go, then go from there and find out whats keepin it on. hope i helped.
