SOLD!!!! Thanks for all the help and the pic provided. It actually looks a lot better installed than I thought it would. I was having second thoughts on the cubby kit because of the clutter with it being so close to the gear changer. I am going to look for one right now on ebay and I will get pics up when I get it installed.

 

Glad to hear you like it! Another thing you can sell the stock headunit on ebay for $150 to $200. I haven't done it yet but I'm going to be selling mine with the Aux input interface for $200. So the kit can pay for its self since the OEM headunit is worth a lot of money, if you got the 6 disc changer that is.

 

Thanks for the info. My stock head unit does have the 6 disc changer. I will put it up on ebay once I get the new kit.

 

Would the standard audio head unit (value package) get any money on ebay?

 

Yeah I'm sure you could sell it. These headunits have a problem with the screen backlight going out, and the only way to really fix it is replace it. So I'm sure you could sell it, just not as much as a 6 disc. I don't remember how much they go for on ebay, there isn't a ton of them up there.

 

Sure ..... someone out there had theirs die and just wants to replace it.
