Nice unit. I would totally get a flipout screen if i had the money for it. I'm taking a guess that youre using the upper dashkit that replaces the stock radio?
I'm still trying to decide but I'm really liking that Clarion unit. I think might go for it. I hoping to order it next week so I still have some time and of course an open mind.

yea i used the dash kit, i wouldnt recomend getting it. Its very cheap looking/feeling. If you have any mechanical skills at all i recomend a custom job like what was posted here not too long ago. fiberglass the stock so you can fit a non flip out model. But the flip out is so cool, its like some terminator stuff really cool

yeah i actually found that from another forum but that looks way to diffcult for me. i believe there are double din screens that actually flip out to insert dvds/cds. theres no fiberglassing to be done just bondo and rewiring to relocate the control board to get it out of the way.

I have had a kenwood excelon (sp) for about 3 or 4 years now and it's been through at least 3 cars, I love it, works amazing, beautifull sound from the Burr-Brown gold plated outputs, allows you to play MP3 cd's and browse through folders on the cd...
