Default Quick wiring question

So I am wiring up my harness. All the wires match up, and then I am left with two grounds, one on each wire. They look like such. What should I do, ground them out to separate points or could I connect the one coming from the metra harness ( the one with no connector on it) to either the system remote control or reverse gear wire, both of which are unused. Any help is greatly appreciated.

the ground from the harness you don't need. ground the head unit to the chassis using that spade terminal.

sorry for the delay. i assume you already did this.
