Macleod what do you think about me throwing my 6.5" VRs in sealed enclosures and using them as home audio speakers? I'm not so sure how great they will be will movies as they are pretty warm speakers. I'm in the market for some new speakers for my room, but I'd rather spend the money getting some C5s than on home speakers.

Hmmm. Not sure on that one. Most car audio speakers are designed to work best mounted inside your door which is essentially free air and as such would require a much bigger sealed enclosure than what is practical.

Plus, theyre 4 ohm speakers and most entry and mid level home audio receivers and amp wont handle a 4 ohm load so you may have to upgrade that as well.

I would suggest contacting JL Audio and getting their take on what size box would work best for those speakers. They may work well in a small enclosure in which case they would be perfect so long as your amp or receiver could handle them.
