A 4awg or 6awg is what you should be using with that amp. If you don't feel comfortable building a box find a friend or someone who knows what they are doing to help you out. I can point you in the direction of tutorials on how to build one. It is very simple if you have worked with wood before, and if not it's a good project to learn with. You won't find many sealed boxes for a L5/L7 because they are really designed for a ported. They are designed to only rip the lows and be very loud. A sealed will decrease that loudness on lows and increase the highs, but only slightly with this sub.

EDIT: I know you like saving money, and if you build your own box you can do it for under $30. I'm sure you can find a sealed box for your sub, if your really want to buy a prebuilt box.

CLICK HERE for info on sub boxes and tips for building a good box.
Click Here for info on the process of building a box. Just ignore the parts about porting the box. A sealed is just a simple box.

I agree that 4 or 6 would be the RIGHT gauge wire, but I dont think that amp will max out an 8 ga. setup. Its under 500 W

No falkore is right, 500w would be ok with an 8awg but a 6awg would be better, and a 4awg even better. I ran 8awg speaker wire, not amp power, in my boat because the runs were a bit long, but 8awg was still over kill. Big wire is only bad becuase it costs more.

To the OP: For questions directed at a specific member, please use the PM feature of the forum. Thread titles should indicate the topic of discussion. I dont expect this to be the case, however pointing a thread specifically at a member can be seen as offensive. Thanks!!!
