Default 2016 Accord Sport Black.. advice for new car?

Hello, first post here... Just purchased my 2nd honda (first was a 1994 prelude SI) and I will say that I am astonished what 25K will get you minus some of the expensive bells and whistles that enthusiasts don't really care about.

My car is black on black and I would like to hear some thoughts on caring for a brand new car, exterior and interior as its the first I have ever owned!

Thank you so much! pleasure to be here

Hello, Matt... welcome to the forum

You've made a great selection with the 2016 Sport. A new car's appearance today is much easier to maintain than those of 20 to 30 years ago and Honda uses a terrific clear coat.

Selecting a wax is often a personal preference, I like ICE by Turtle Wax, I use the liquid.. easy to apply, easy to remove... and Meguiar's offers a large line of products. The key is using a soft & CLEAN applicator... and also something like a terry cloth.. soft/clean remover

As with any car car product, never store in the trunk... too hot/too cold... store indoors at room temperature

Have fun

I've not heard of it, Matt, although I will check it out.
Thanks

Whatever wax and sealant decide to use stick with it. Swirl marks on black appear overnight and a good wax and sealant is mandatory on black paint
