Default Leather - Simoniz Treated

I just bought a 2011 Accord SE. Probably the main ingredient in the SE package is leather trim. It's the first car I've ever owned with leather, so I'm clueless on properly caring for it. I've already found a ton of recommendations after looking around for about 30 minutes or so online. I haven't seen anyone else ask about how the Simoniz treatment, the one sold by and applied at dealerships as part of deal packages, affects treating leather. After application, this Simoniz stuff is guaranteed to protect the material against pretty much any possible stain. I'm wondering if whatever it's made of makes it unnecessary or even possibly inadvisable to use leather care products. Anyone have any ideas?

Thumbs up Hi Member

I'm sure that product is a good one because they have a good name in the car care business. Every one is going to have their favorites even tho you put that one in..For instance...after having over 2 dozen leather seated cars in the last 50 years I Like ( Tanners Preserve ) they make a cleaner and the conditioning cream and it really keeps the seats soft and supple.
