Default 1993 Honda Accord - Engine problems

Hey all, I have a 1993 Honda Accord with 200,000 miles. It is primarily my to and from work vehicle but right now its not even good for that. Currently it wont start. At first it would crank but not turn over. Once it finally did turn over I was able to drive it into work (about 15 miles away) with no problems. After I got off of work I tried to start it again and got the same cranking but no turnover problem. I removed each one of my spark plug wires and noticed that there was about 3/4-1/2" of oil on three of the four spark plug wires. I wiped off the oil and replugged each wire firmly (in the correct order). When I tried to go restart the car it wouldnt even crank!!! I know that oil is not a good thing in that area, but Im not sure if thats what causing it not to crank/turnover. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Sounds a spark/fuel issue since wiping the oil didn't help. Do you know when the last time the distributor cap and rotor were replaced, those will run you about $55. Also check the battery and starter.

Clarify for us... Doesn't crank means the starter won't even spin the engine. Is that it?? If so, look at battery connections, bad starter motor or starter solenoid.

the oil is from the spark plug seals under the valve cover. and as you can probably see, just two 10mm nuts are needed to take the off. there are 4 circular oil seals that will need to be replaced and they are very cheap. once that is done, the wires will need to be cleaned a little better i think. take a q tip and clean the inside if the wires and then try it. if you still dont have a running engine, you have to find out whether you dont have spark, or you dont have gas. spark is easy to find. take a plug out and crank the motor and see if it sparks.

as you do the last part... make sure you video tape it and remember to hold it by the spark plug....

EDIT: ok... sorry... don't do that... that's gonna hurt a lot!
do the opposite... don't touch the spark plug! or even better, have a friend do it and you video tape him...
(I was gonna do that but never had the chance... as soon as I can I'll do that to a buddy of mine and post it here)
