1994 Honda Accord LX VSS
Ok, So Ive takin both of the bolts out of the VSS like I was told to, this task Was incredibly hard, It took me an hour a bolt.
So after spending 2 hours on getting two bolts out, I cant get the electric unplugged from it or revome the VSS itself.
I can't get my hand down there to even touch it, there are so many things in the way, That arnt movable (Without a mechanic knowing what hes doin and the right tools)
Anyone have any ideas? I have just bought a new one and am trying to replace. But I can't even get the old one out.....
PLEASE HELP!

This is the first I've heard of having that many issues with it. I know the wire harness has a small item that has to be pushed in to release it but the sensor itself should just pop out/lift out. Have you tried to twist it at all?

I would try, But i cant get anythign down there to do that, the only thing i have is the twisty rench in which i got it off with.
I got so desperate as to where i got a fishing hook and tried to yank it out by attatching it to the wire, Still wont budge.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

Nick.. did you remove the throttle body air tube ?? if not remove it . it will give you a lot of room
did you remove the 2 , 10 mm bolts on top of the electrical part of the vss?? you need a 10mm socket and a long extension, it works real well., then unplug it and it should come right out . You need to get the proper tools to make the job easier ,,
But as Sir said,, it is a very, very easy job to do ,,

OMG man! Put a band-aid on that! Take of the throttle body air tube. It should only be atached by a ring clamp. If you can't get to the screw to loosent the ring clamp, go to AutoZone and buy a new clamp for like $0.50 and rip the old one off with a pair of pliers(but DON'T damage the tube)!
