I own a 96 accord EX 2.7 v6 automatic trans. I took my new car to emission to find out I have trouble code P0725 "Engine speed input circuit malfunction"

 

I also forgot to note that I completely replaced my ignition coil and still failed emissions and before I replaced the coil my tachometer has been not working where it stays stagnet at 0 and once in awhile move all off the frits for a second or 2 and go back to 0. Even after I replaced the coil my tach is still stagnent. Any help is appreciated as this is the only thing holding my car back from passing emissions
