My 08 v6 seems to hit a rev limiter sometimes while under heavy acceleration near 5-6k rpm in 1st and 2nd gear. the power just cuts out and then after a few seconds it comes back. It feels similar to when traction control limits the power to the engine but traction control is always off when this happens does anyone have any ideas as to what this might b?
