Greetings All!

After twenty two years of devoted service, my Air Mix controller decided to retire. I have purchased the OEM part and waiting for delivery. In the mean time, I am trying to gather some information on the location of this particular part. Correct me if I am wrong, but is it located to the right of the steering column near the heater duct?

My car is a 1999 Honda Accord EXV6.

The air-mix motor is #6 in this picture. The arrow points forwards, so that motor is in the center console, near the passenger's left leg. You have to remove the panels to uncover that, which I don't remember very well. I'll see if I have something about it. Seems to me you have to remove the glovebox before you can remove the side panel of the console...?

PS. this is a 4-door EX V-6. I don't know if the 2-door car is much different.
